IOWA CITY, Iowa – After getting "nicked up" according to Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz at last week’s annual team media day, LeShun Daniels took less than a handful of carries in Saturday’s Kids Day event. While that may not have seemed like progress for the outside world, it represented some big steps for the true junior from Ohio.

Daniels, along with running mate Jordan Canzeri, are preparing to show that they can stay healthy through a season. Both drag a history of injury issues into this 2015 campaign.

Daniels assured everyone here on Saturday that he was feeling good.

He needs to be well all season.
