AH-TV: Villanova coach Jay Wright and his players look ahead to facing Iowa
BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Villanova has been ranked among the top teams in the country over the past several seasons, but the Wildcats haven’t advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 since 2009.
They will have an opportunity to end that drought on Sunday against Iowa in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner will advance to Sweet 16 next Thursday in Louisville, Ky.
Villanova head coach Jay Wright and several of his players talk about the challenge of facing No. 7 seed Iowa in the following video interviews. The Wildcats are the No. 2 seed and will bring a 30-5 record into Sunday’s game at the Barclays Center.
