Duwa’s dream comes true with Iowa commitment
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Work hard enough and your dreams will come true.
Such is the case with Mid-Prairie defensive end Levi Duwa, who committed to Iowa less than 24 hours after receiving a scholarship offer at its spring game Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-2, 225 pound Duwa had told AllHawkeyes.com that being a Hawkeye would be a dream come true for him.

“It feels amazing knowing that my dreams are coming true,” Duwa said. “I just need to keep working hard and keep improving myself day by day.”
Growing up less than 20 miles from Iowa City, Duwa has been motivated by his desire to play in Kinnick Stadium.
He will now have the opportunity to do just that.
Duwa also had scholarship offers from Minnesota and Eastern Michigan.
With Duwa’s commit to Iowa, he is the 10th player from the 2017 senior class to pick the Hawkeyes, and the sixth from in state.
