IOWA CITY, Iowa – We spent much of Monday’s podcast looking back at the Iowa football team’s spring game from this past Saturday.

We talked about Ryan Boyle moving from quarterback to receiver, about Drew Cook’s performance at quarterback in the spring game and about C.J. Beathard’s latest injury, which could have been much worse than just a bruised shoulder.

To say that Iowa dodged a bullet with Beathard wound be an understatement.

We also talked about football and men’s basketball recruiting, including the verbal commitment from 2017 Mid-Prairie defensive end Levi Duwa on Sunday.

And, of course, we drifted at times to unrelated topics because we can’t help ourselves.
