AH podcast: Insight from Don Patterson and Eno discussion
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa offensive coordinator Don Patterson continues his Monday appearances with insight on why the Iowa football team is struggling on offense.
Iowa failed to score a touchdown during Saturday’s 17-9 loss to Wisconsin at Kinnick Stadium.
Patterson makes a few suggestions on how to spark the offense and he talks about the challenge of staying motivated down the stretch. Iowa still has four games remaining, but has a bye week this week.
Iowa’s next game is against Penn State on Nov. 5 at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa.
Patterson also talks about what happens during a bye week from a strategical and personnel standpoint.
The second half of the podcast focuses mostly on the big news from Sunday that Texas 4-star running back Eno Benjamin had de-commited from Iowa and will explore other options. Benjamin’s announcement on Twitter caused quite a stir with Hawkeye fans.
