IOWA CITY, Iowa – Sunday will be bittersweet for the five seniors on the Iowa wrestling team.

Thomas Gilman (125 pounds), Cory Clark (133), Sammy Brooks (184), Alex Meyer (174) and 141-pounderTopher Carton all will make their final appearances at Carver-Hawkeye Arena when third-ranked Iowa (10-2, 6-1) faces fifth-ranked Nebraska (12-1, 6-1).

Iowa's senior class has combined for 421 wins, led by Gilman, a two-time All-American with a 96-11 career record and a second place finish at last year's NCAA Championships. Gilman is coming off a dramatic win against Minnesota this past Sunday when he trailed 8-0 in his match before storming back to record a pin in the third period.

Despite the success of his senior class, Iowa coach Tom Brands isn't satisfied and believes there still is work to be done.

"Well, they've got a lot of wins," Brands said. "I don't know if we have any championships. Senior days are funny because there's more to do. Like senior day at Kinnick Stadium when they have a game next week or a bowl game. It's a good send off for them, the fans get to see them. It's important, but there is still a lot of wrestling left in the season.

"All that being said, these guys have done a lot of winning and there could be a lot of icing on the cake with championships. I think we have two Big Ten champions in the group and we're looking to keep adding to that number."

Before Iowa takes on Nebraska, it'll hit the road to face Indiana (9-7, 2-5) on Friday in Bloomington, Ind.
