AH TV: Kirk Ferentz meets with the media for the final time this spring
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media for the final time this spring after the Hawkeyes' final spring practice on Friday night in Kinnick Stadium.
Ferentz, who is entering his 20th season as head coach, provided an update on his team's progress through spring practice, particularly with regard to his young receivers, senior linebacker Amani Jones' progress in filling the shoes left by all-American Josey Jewell and the current lack of depth on the offensive line.
Ferentz also weighed in on the announcement made by Iowa during the practice that the water tower overlooking Kinnick will have a Tigerhawk painted on it by its season opening game against Northern Illinois on Sept. 1.
Here are several videos of Ferentz addressing the media after Friday's practice.
