AH TV: Iowa football players meet with the media on Tuesday
IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the second time this summer, select members of the Iowa football team were made available to the media on Tuesday.
They updated the progress being made this summer and talked about the 2018 season, which starts on Sept. 1 with Iowa facing Northern Illinois at Kinnick Stadium.
Iowa is comng off a season in which it finished 8-5 overall and 4-5 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes also won a bowl game for the first time since 2010, defeating Boston College 27-20 in the 2017 Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
Kirk Ferentz will enter the 2018 season tied with Hayden Fry's as Iowa's all-time winningest football coach with 143 victories. Ferentz also will match Fry in coaching longevity at Iowa with Ferentz entering his 20th season at Iowa.
None of the Iowa coaches were made available to the media on Tuesday.
