Oliver Martin transfers to Nebraska as a walk-on
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Oliver Martin will stay in the Big Ten Conference to continue his football career.
The former Iowa City West High star receiver, who started his career at Michigan before transferring to Iowa last summer, has enrolled at Nebraska where he will reportedly play as a walk-on.
The 6-foot-1, 200 pound Martin joins offensive lineman Ezra Miller, who also left Iowa this off-season after being placed on a medical scholarship.
Martin is currently listed as a student in the NU directory, according to HuskerOnline, and has two years of eligibility remaining.
However, the Big Ten Conference has cancelled the fall football season due to concerns about the Coronavirus.
