Ryan Daly Checks Out Iowa Football
'24 FL DL Enjoys Hawkeye Stop
Positive word of mouth can be an effective way of spreading your brand. That’s certainly the case when it comes to college football recruiting.
It’s a seed that’s been planted in the mind of 2024 Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy defensive lineman Ryan Daly. A family friend attended the university and has been promoting his alma mater.
“He tells me how great it was all the time,” Ryan Daly told HF.
Ryan Daly was impressed with what he’s heard and decided to visit Iowa on Tuesday. He found that what X told him was true.
“They treated me like family from the start,” Daly said.
He received a feel for Iowa Football, the Hawkeye staff and the process of finding a college.
“I really enjoyed how you get to have personal conversations with the Iowa coaches. They taught me so much from the recruiting stand point and a coach’s perspective about the process,” he said.
The Iowa staff also shared advice.
“They told me to just keep working on your craft, get bigger, faster and stronger, and keep getting one percent better every day,” Daly said.
Daly (6-2, 260) is from X. He’s enjoying his time at IMG, a boarding school with intense training.
“Covid happened and IMG asked me to attend a camp. I felt like going to IMG was best for me academically and for football,” he said.
Daly is looking to study Business Management in college. He volunteers refereeing youth flag football, at a local food bank and for Yellow Ribbons United, an organization for families who have lost loved ones in war.
