Hawk Fanatic podcast: Adam Haluska back for another season talking Hawkeye hoops
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa basketball star Adam Haluska is back for another season of talking about Hawkeye hoops on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast.
Haluska appeared for about 30 minutes at the start of Friday’s podcast.
He addressed multiple topics, including how much more grueling his practices at Iowa State were under Larry Eustachy compared to his practices under Steve Alford at Iowa.
Haluska played his freshman season at Iowa State before trasferring to Iowa where he was a three-year starter, and an All-Big Ten performer.
The Iowa men’s and women’s basketball teams will play in a doubleheader this coming Monday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena to start the season.
The men will face Bethune-Cookman in the first game at 6 p.m., while the fourth-ranked Iowa women will play Southern University in the second game at approximatley 8:30 p.m.
Just like with Don Patterson talking Hawkeye football on Mondays, we’re fortunate to have Haluska’s unique insight during basketball season.
Adam will try to appear on one show per week, but with no fixed date due to his busy schedule.
