The Hawkeyes came out with the same starting lineup as the exhibition against Truman State.
Tony Perkins at the point, with Payton Sandfort and Patrick McCaffery as the wings. Kris Murray and Filip Rebraca followed at the four and five positions.
Perkins led all scorers with 16 points, followed by Murray (14), Sandfort (13), P. McCaffery (12) and Rebraca (11). Rebraca also had ten boards to complete the double-double.
Compettition will only improve as Iowa has a tough non-confernce schedule before they get into Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes next contest will be Friday Nov. 11th against North Carolina A&T at 7 pm.
