Iowa as fifth seed will face winner of Wisconsin-Ohio State Thursday in Big Ten Tournament
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa (19-12) will be the No. 5 seed in this week’s Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament at the United Center in Chicago.
The Hawkeyes will face the winner of the first-round contest between Wisconsin-Ohio State on Thursday, March 9, at approximately 1:30 p.m. (CT) in the second round. Thursday’s game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
Iowa fell to the fifth seed after losing to Nebraska 81-77 in the regular-season finale on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa would’ve been a No. 2 seed in the conference tournament if it had defeated Nebraska.
