HEAR FROM HEAD COACH DAVE DIIANNI
“It was a typical border war. The styles are very different. It’s very difficult to play against Nebraska, 4-2-4, ball is in the air a lot. I think we prefer it to be on the ground. We are not in a place quite yet to absorb how they play and then turn around quickly and play how we want to play. I think we saw, the first 20 minutes of the second half, where it got a little frantic. You have to stay in it the entire time with them mentally. I thought we won enough balls in the air to be able to control some of what they want to do.”
