Iowa women host Washington State with chance to start 6-0 under new head coach Jan Jensen

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa women’s basketball team hosts Washington State on Sunday with a chance to start 6-0 under new head coach Jan Jensen.
Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the game will be televised by the Big Ten Network
Jensen is second head coach in program history to start 5-0, joining Angie Lee who started 7-0 in 1995-96.
Villanova transfer Lucy Olsen has reached double figures and four or more assists in all five career games with Iowa.
The Hawkeyes have also outscored all five teams this year in paint points.
Including games they’ve already played, five of Iowa’s 11 non-conference games will have been against teams that played in last season’s NCAA Tournament.
Since Oct. 28, 2022, the Hawkeyes are 20-3 in neutral site contests. A season ago, the Hawkeyes were 12-1 at a neutral venue.
Senior center Addi O’Grady has been in double figures in four games after having just two total games scoring in double figures over her previous two seasons.
SCOUTING WASHINGTON STATE
