Video: Postgame after Iowa women grind out 75-69 win against the Iowa State Cyclones

IOWA CITY, IOWA – For most of the night, it seems like Audi Crooks would be leading the Cyclones to their first win in Iowa City since the 2006-07 season.
Luckily for the Hawks, they play four quarters and the last is the most important. The Hawkeyes outscored the Cyclones by nine in the quarter and a key 9-0 run late sealed the victory for Iowa.
The Cyclones led for almost 33 of the total 40 minutes of the game and controlled almost every level of the game. A lot of that control came from the play of their star center Audi Crooks.
After putting up 27 points in three quarters Audi Crooks was held to just four points in the final quarters.
On the other side Iowa’s Lucy Olsen got her first taste of the CyHawk game and said the atmosphere was, “Like nothing I have ever experienced before.”
Sydney Affolter and Hannah Stuelke were the other Hawkeyes who notched double figures. A season high for Affolter, who is still adjusting to her role as more of a primary scorer.
