IOWA CITY, IA – As the holiday break approaches, Fran McCaffery and company have added another players to their 2025 recruiting class. Dezmon Briscoe is a 6’8″ forward out of Crispus Attuck High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Briscoe was first offered by Iowa in March of 2023, since then he had received intrest from other Division I programs including Butler, Cincinnati, DePaul, Nevada and West Virginia. Briscoe is a two-time city player of the year, averaging 14.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.2 blocked shots per game as a junior.

‘25 Dezmon Briscoe (6’8 F) continues to rise for us. Highly active, efficient, mean. Plus+ wingspan making plays at the rim defensively. Willing to screen and seal hard. Improving on the perimeter on both ends. Tons of upside.
