IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don Patterson made a Monday postseason appearance on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast, and there was plenty to discuss.

From Iowa’s matchup with Missouri in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 to the launching of the 12-team college playoff to the impact being felt by NIL and the transfer portal, Patterson shared his thoughts on multiple topics.

Don Patterson was a member of Hayden Fry’s Iowa coaching staff from start to finish, rising to the position of offensive coordinator.

He was also the head coach for Western Illinois from 1999 to 2009.
