South Dakota 4-star OL Hudson Parliament commits to Iowa
Parliament is third 2026 OL to commit to Iowa since Sunday

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team held a Junior Day event this past weekend, and it has since received verbal commitments from three offensive linemen in the 2026 class.
Hudson Parliament, a four-star recruit from South Dakota, announced his commitment to Iowa Monday afternoon, picking the Hawkeyes over Minnesota and Nebraska.
His commitment came just a few hours after Iowa City West offensive lineman Colin Whitters committed to Iowa.
Minnesota native Owen Linder was the first of the three 2026 offensive lineman to commit to Iowa as he announced his decision this past Sunday, and after having attended the Junior Day event.
Parliament is listed at 6-foot-4 and he already weighs close to 300 pounds.
Iowa had been considered the favorite to land Parliament, and the Junior Day event apparently helped to seal the deal.
“He’s a really good offensive lineman, the number one player in the state and a big catch,” veteran recruiting analyst Tom Lemming said of Parliament. “He’s athletic, can play tackle or guard, moves very well.”
Lemming only thinks highly of Linder and Whitters.
“They’re very good players,” Lemming said.
Iowa now has six players committed in its 2026 class, including four offensive linemen.
Carson Nielsen, a 6-7, 275 pound tackle from Waterloo West, committed to Iowa last April.
Iowa also has commitments from Michigan four-star athlete Marcello Vitti and California quarterback Cash Herrera.
