IOWA CITY, Iowa – The future of the Iowa wrestling program received a significant boost with Pennsylvania native Bo Bassett having recently committed to the Hawkeyes.

Bassett is widely regard as the top recruit in the 2026 class and he likely projects from 149 to 157 pounds in college.

Bassett was also the guest on Friday’s Hawk Fanatic/KCJJ radio show and podcast, appearing approximately one hour into the 90-minute podcast.

Bo addressed multiple topics, including what stood out about Iowa, and the influence Spencer Lee might have had on his decision.

Lee is also a Pennsylvania native, and he won three national titles as a Hawkeye.
