IOWA CITY, Iowa – One day after Ben McCollum was introduced as the new Iowa men’s basketball coach, Iowa Swarm CEO Brad Heinrichs made a guest appearance on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast to discuss how the hire will impact raising NIL money.

McCollum replaces Fran McCaffery, who was fired after 15 seasons as the Iowa head coach.

McCaffery made it well known that Iowa struggled to close recruiting deals under his watch due mostly to not having enough NIL resources.

The hope is that by making a coaching change that will change.

Brad’s interview starts at the beginning of the 90-minute podcast and last for 30 minutes.

UI track and field athlete Isabelle Woody also made a guest appearance to talk about her experience as part of the Big Ten Ambassador program over the winter.
