IOWA CITY, Iowa – Select members of the Iowa football team, including new receiver Sam Phillips, met with the media on Thursday to discuss spring practice.

Iowa running back coach Omar Young also met with the Iowa media for the first time on Thursday.

Phillips transferred to Iowa in January after playing the previous three seasons for Tennessee-Chattanooga.

The Iowa football team will wrap up spring practice with an open practice on April 26 at Kinnick Stadium.
