Iowa Adds Michigan CB Boswell
Cedric Boswell picked up an Iowa scholarship offer this weekend while visiting the school. Monday, he ended his recruitment by committing to the Hawkeyes.
The cornerback from Beverly Hills (MI) Groves High joined Illinois defensive end Romeo McKnight and Ohio defensive back Lance Billings as Iowa pledges on Monday. The trio brought the total of known commitments in Iowa’s 2016 Class to 20.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Boswell also reported scholarship offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Toledo and Western Michigan.
Rivals ranks Boswell as a two-star recruit while 247 tabs him as a three-star and the No. 33 player overall in Michigan. Scout lists him as a three-star and the No. 9 cornerback in Midwest region.
Boswell stood out for his high school team as a running back. Last season, he rushed for over 1,300 yards with 15 touchdowns.
