IOWA CITY, Iowa Tenth-ranked Iowa started fast and held off a game effort from visiting Maryland Saturday here at Kinnick Stadium, 31-15.

Following the contest, interim Terrapins Coach Mike Locksley talked about his team’s fight and the Hawkeyes’ ability to control the pace of the game in building a 21-0 halftime lead.
