Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz and his counterpart in Saturday’s Big Ten Championship game, Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio, conducted a teleconference Sunday afternoon to speak about their teams and their upcoming meeting.

The veterans of the sidelines complimented each other throughout the call. Dantonio said he patterned his Spartan program after what Ferentz had done with the Hawkeyes.
