IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team’s 2016 season starts in less than four weeks, so maybe that’s why we’re doing a better job of staying on course.

That’s the only explanation for why this podcast focuses almost exclusively on Hawkeye football, as did our Monday podcast.

We still drift at times and say things that make little or no sense. But for us, this is about as serious and analytical as we get. We barely mention politics and nobody mentioned The Cowsills until late in the podcast.
