AH-TV: Iowa players discuss Saturday’s loss to Northwestern
IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the second time in three weeks the Iowa football team was defeated at home.
The players also were at a loss for why the Hawkeyes fell to Northwestern 38-31 on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.
The Wildcats entered the game with a 1-3 record, including a loss to Illinois State at home.
Iowa fell behind 17-7 early in the second quarter and then scored 14 unanswered points to take a 21-17 lead at halftime but penalties and errant tackling hurt them in the second half as they were outscored 21-10 after the break.
