WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – Iowa defeated Purdue 49-35 at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday in the type of fashion that head coach Kirk Ferentz likes to win, by running the ball effectively and not allowing the opponent to do the same.

Iowa rushed for 365 yards and held Purdue to just 46 rushing yards as it improved to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in Big Ten play.
