AH podcast: Don Patterson on what it’ll take to defeat Wisconsin
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Our Monday chat with Don Patterson always provides a unique look at the Iowa football team, which is preparing to face Wisconsin on Saturday.
Patterson looks back at the 49-35 victory over Purdue this past Saturday in West Lafayette, ind., and ahead to the much-anticipated game against the Badgers at Kinnick Stadium.
Patterson coached at Iowa under Hayden Fry for 20 seasons, and was the head coach at Western Illinois. So Patterson has been involved with many key battles against the Badgers.
He also knows Wisconsin starting quarterback Alex Hornibrook on a personal level after recruiting him as an assistant coach at Connecticut. Patterson retired from coaching after last season.
We always appreciate and enjoy listening to his insight, and think you would, too. So give it a listen.
