AH-TV: Iowa players talk about historic victory over Michigan
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team proved a lot of people wrong on Saturday night, defeating third-ranked Michigan 14-13 in prime time at Kinnick Stadium.
Iowa improved to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in Big Ten play when true freshman kicker Keith Duncan's last-second field goal sailed through the uprights in front of a raucous home crowd.
Several Iowa players addressed the media after Iowa's historic victory, including junior linebacker Josey Jewell talking about a promise he made to senior quarterback C.J. Beathard that if the offense scored 14 points Iowa would beat Michigan.
