AH TV: Iowa players talk about 17-10 win over Minnesota
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Floyd of Rosedale is staying in Iowa City for a third consecutive year.
The Iowa football team defeated Minnesota 17-10 on Saturday night to maintain the trophy that is awarded to the winner of the game.
Senior linebacker Josey Jewell and senior running back James Butler both returned to the lineup for Iowa. Jewell missed Iowa's loss to Northwestern last week with a shoulder injury while Butler had been out since the North Texas game on Sep. 16 due to an elbow injury.
Jewell led Iowa with 11 tackles. It was his 18th career game with double-digit tackles.
Iowa improved to 2-3 in Big Ten play and 5-3 overall and will face Ohio State at home next Saturday.
The game will begin at 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. and it has not been announced how it will be televised.
