IOWA CITY, Iowa – Operation Come Back to Earth is well underway for members of the Iowa football team as they move on from dismantling Ohio State to facing another Big Ten power in Wisconsin.

Iowa versus Wisconsin is always an intriguing border clash, but especailly in this case with Iowa (6-3, 3-3 Big Ten) coming off a stunning 55-24 victory over Ohio Stte this past Saturday at Kinnick Stadium and with the sixth-ranked Badgers (9-0, 6-0) undefeated and in the thick of the playoff hunt. 

Iowa has a chance to play the role of spoiler while also improving its bowl status. The Hawkeyes became bowl eligible last Saturday for the 16th time in the 17 seasons under head coach Kirk Ferentz.

The Badgers are tough to beat anywhere, but especially at Camp Randall Stadium, although, Iowa has won four of the last five games in Madison.

Several members of the Iowa team, including sophomore quarterback and Wisconsin native Nate Stanley, met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the Badgers and to look back at the Buckeye beat-down.

Win or lose, Ferentz has a 24-hour rule, so by Sunday his players had supposedly moved on, while fans and the media continued to bask in the glow of Iowa's historic win.

Stanley shredded the Buckeyes for five touchdown passes and has thrown 22 touchdown passes on the season and just five interceptions. Chuck Long holds the Iowa single-season record with 27 touchdown passes.

Wisconsin, as usual, has one of the nation's best rushing attacks behind freshman sensation Jonathan Taylor, who averages more than seven yards per carry.
