AH TV: Mike and Patty Street talk about their son Chris Street’s legacy
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Besides playing at home for its second win in Big Ten play on Saturday against Purdue, the Iowa men's basketball team had extra motivation.
Former Iowa basketball player Chris Street was killed 25 years ago on Jan. 20, 1993 after getting hit by a snowplow.
Iowa honored Street's memory during halftime of Saturday's game and his parents, Mike and Patty Street, and former Iowa coach Tom Davis were on hand to take part in the ceremony.
