IOWA CITY, Iowa – Council Bluffs offensive lineman Logan Jones came to Iowa City for a visit on Sunday with scholarship offers from Iowa State and Minnesota.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Jones left Iowa City with his third offer from Iowa.
“It feels really good,” Jones said. “I really liked it up there today.”
Jones, a 2020 prospect, said that he’s just trying to enjoy the process and isn’t picking any favorites between his three offers.
“I wouldn’t say I have a favorite,” Jones said. “I wouldn’t really say that (the Iowa offer) is any different from my others. Any offer is a big deal and I really appreciate the fact that they took time to look at my film and be able to offer me.”
While on campus, Jones got the opportunity to meet with several Iowa coaches and ask questions to a player panel.
“What stood out to me was how much (the coaches) care and how they want you to be the best that you can possibly be,” Jones said.
“The player panel and hearing all the things they had to say (was my favorite part). We asked a bunch of questions about what ti’s like to play at that level and what the transition is like from high school to college.”
Jones also said that he has no plans to make a decision on his future any time soon.
