CHICAGO – Iowa Athletic Director Gary Barta met with the media on Tuesday morning at Big Ten media day.

Barta touched on multiple topics including gambling in sports, division alignement in the Big Ten and the potential of beer and liquor sales at Kinnick Stadium.

Barta, who is in his 13th year at Iowa, also provided an update on the north end zone renovation at Kinnick.

The renovation is expected to be completed by 2019.
