Iowa makes top six for five-star Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis
IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the second time since May, the Iowa men’s basketball team has made a five-star recruit’s list of top six schools.
Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis announced his top six schools on Twitter on Sunday.
In addition to Iowa, his list has Indiana, Purdue, Michigan State, UCLA and Wake Forest.

Jackson-Davis is considered one of the top players in the 2019 senior class and is a friend of Iowa recruit and fellow 2019 class member Patrick McCaffery.
Jackson-Davis’ announcement came less than three months after 2019 Bettendorf five-star point guard D.J. Carton released his top six schools on Twitter. Iowa also made Carton’s final six schools, but he has since committed to Ohio State.
Jackson-Davis will reportedly take an official visit to Iowa on Sept. 7, according to Rivals.com. The Greenwood, Ind., native plans to take all five of his allowed official visits, and will visit Purdue unofficially, according to Rivals.
Patrick McCaffery is currently the only player committed to Iowa's 2019 recruiting class. The 6-8 Patrick McCaffery, who attends Iowa City West High School, is a four-star recruit and the son of Iowa coach Fran McCaffery.
Patrick McCaffery is expected to visit Iowa on the same day as Jackson-Davis.
Fran McCaffery recently extended scholarship offers to three point guards in the 2019 class on the same day last week.
Iowa is also involved with another five-star forward from Indiana in the 2019 class named Keion Brooks, who trimmed his list to 10 schools that included Iowa. The 6-8 Brooks, who is from Fort Wayne, Ind., took an unofficial visit to Iowa this spring.
