Former Iowa and NFL quarterback Chuck Long shares his thoughts on current Iowa team

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa All-America quarterback Chuck Long was our guest on a rare and special Thursday edition of the AllHawkeyes/KCJJ radio show and podcast.

Long addressed multiple topics, including the rise of sophomore running back Ivory Kelly-Martin, the parts of Nate Stanley's game that need to improve and the impact of new Nebraska head caoch Scott Frost.

Long attended Iowa's practice on Monday as part of the Big Ten Network's annual bus tour and was able to get a close look at the Hawkeyes, who will face Northern Illinois in the season opener on Sept. 1 at Kinnick Stadium.

The interview lasts for about 25 minutes and we appreciate Chuck's insight as a former star player, and as a former college head coach and current analyst for the Big Ten Network. And we think you will, too, so give it a listen by clicking on the link below.
