TAMPA, Fla. – Kirk Ferentz added something to his list of awards on Sunday.

Iowa's head coach received the key to the city of Tampa during an event on the beach prior to the Outback Bowl on Tuesday.

Iowa is playing in the Outback Bowl for the sixth time in Ferentz's 20-year tenure and will face Mississippi State for the first time in program history.
