IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder was our guest on Wednesday's KCJJ/Allhawkeyes radio show and podcast.

She looked ahead to Thursday's critical Big Ten matchup against Michigan State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and talked about Megan Gustafson's improbable rise to stardom.

Bluder also explained why Gustafson's jersey won't be retired on Senior Day, and her explanation makes a lot of sense.

Gustafson's jersey will be retired at some point, but Bluder feels that Senior Day should focus on all the seniors rather that just on Gustafson. She said Gustafson also feels the same way.
