Ah podcast: Lisa Bluder talks about the Iowa women’s basketball team’s incredible season
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder has a lot to be happy and proud about with her team having won the Big Ten Tournament title this past Sunday in Indianapolis.
Iowa is also ranked eighth nationally and will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
And if that's not enough, Iowa has one of the leading candidates for National Player of the Year in senior center Megan Gustafson, along with a talented and veteran supporting cast.
Bluder was our guest for Wednesday's Allhawkeyes/KCJJ radio show and podcast and she talked in detail about what makes her team special and about preparing for the NCAA Tournament
Her interview starts about 45 minutes into the podcast and lasts for nearly 30 minutes.
We appreciate Lisa's time and think you will enjoy this interview because we sure did.
