Three-star offensive lineman Kevo Wesley enjoys visit to Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Three-star offensive lineman Kevo Wesley took his first look at the Iowa football program over the weekend since being extended a scholarship offer in February.
Wesley, a native of Chicago, Ill., got a chance to have a one-on-one meeting with Iowa offensive line coach Tim Polasek to break down some of Wesley's film.
"Me and coach Polasek had a meeting," Wesley said. "He compared my film to what they have linemen do there. It really showed how I fit into their scheme."
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound Wesley currently has over 20 scholarship offers, including Power Five offers from Arizona, Boston College, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Rutgers, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Washington State.
However, Wesley said he has not begun to narrow down his list to just a few favorites yet.
"(Iowa is) a top tier team," Wesley said. "But I have no favorites right now."
Despite not favoring any school over another, Wesley said he likes the way that Iowa develops players and has an appreciation for its rich offensive line tradition.
"(The offensive line tradition) is a big factor being that I play the position," Wesley said.
