By Dallas Jones
IOWA CITY, IA – We are still many many Saturday’s away from the first kickoff of the season, but many Hawkeye fans filled Kinnick Stadium Saturday morning to get a peak at what is to come this fall.
Offense(0:00-2:11)- The offense was without receivers Keegan Johnson and Diante Vines, but the focus was centered around the revolving doors of QB’s as we saw reps from Spencer Petras, Alex Padilla, and Joe Labas.
Defense(2:11-3:29)- Some key guys were also missing on the defensive end (Seth Benson, Jestin Jacobs, Jack Campbell), but Phil Parker’s unit looked as solid as ever in today’s practice.
Special teams(3:29-end)- We also get to see one of the nations best punter’s in Tory Taylor returns to Iowa City this year. A key piece in Levar Woods unit. Kickers Aarom Blom and Drew Stevens also got a chance to showcase themselves a little today.
