Video: Postgame with Hawkeyes after 24-14 win over Utah State
By Dallas Jones
IOWA CITY, IOWA – Hawkeye fans have anxiously awaited this day. Cade McNamara and a cast of old and new Hawkeyes took the field first and to the delight of Hawkeye fans all over, scored a touchdown on the second play from scrimmage.
That set the tone as the Hawkeyes start the year off with a 24-14 win over the Utah State Aggies.

Unfortunately, Hawkeye fans still have a lot of questions regarding this Hawkeye team.
The run game struggled often times to break anything open, a few drops from receivers, and five possession stretch that went punt, punt, FG (after Nwankpa INT in USU territory), punt, punt.
Many questions were answered in the postgame including what cause the offense to slow down after the first two possessions, the health of a few key Hawkeyes, and what can be taken away from this scorcher of a season opener.
