Hawk Fanatic week 9 predictions
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fresh off a much-needed bye week, our four panelists have had some extra time to heal and to recover from the grind of picking games for eight weeks in a row.
Dallas Jones still holds the lead, but only by one over Alex Pruismann in the loss column.
Pruismann wasn’t part of the panel for the first week, so he has picked five fewer games.
So much like the Big Ten West Division, this race still is wide open.
Pat Harty
Iowa 6, Northwestern 5: This game, since it’s being played on a baseball field, should have someone throw out the first pass and have a third-quarter stretch.
Indiana 23, Wisconsin 20: Paging Barry Alvarez!
Iowa State 27, Kansas 24: Both head coaches move a step closer to making the Michigan coaching list after Jim Harbaugh resigns to coach the Chicago Bears.
Alabama 24, LSU 21: Brian Kelly blames the loss on having to play too many SEC teams.
Notre Dame 28, Clemson 25: Dabo Swinney blames the loss on NIL, the transfer portal, inflation, and from having a massive target on his back because he’s Dabo Swinney.
