Caitlin Clark signs multi-year deal with Gatorade
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa senior guard Caitlin Clark has landed another high-profile endorsement deal as she has signed a multi-year deal with Gatorade.
Clark is the fourth collegiate athlete to join the Gatorade roster and second college basketball player, joining emerging young talent Paige Bueckers, Shedeur Sanders and Nick Singleton. A few additional details on the partnership:
Clark’s signing is marked with the launch of the digital-only spot “You Can Too,” a message from her to the next generation of hoopers, inspiring them to strive for greatness on and off the court.
In the video, she touches on how girls worldwide can accomplish similar goals, nodding to her record-setting performances that pushed the boundaries on what women in college sports are expected to reach, as well as the record crowds she’s drawn that have increased visibility in women’s sports.
As part of Clark’s partnership with Gatorade, the brand is committing $22,000 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation, dedicated to uplifting and improving the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sport.
“This partnership is special because not only does Gatorade fuel the best athletes in the game, but they’re also committed to leading by example and giving back, which is what I strive to do every day. I’m honored to join such an iconic brand that has some of the most elite athletes in sport on their roster and can’t wait for what’s ahead.”
Clark’s endorsement portfolio now includes Gatorade, Nike, State Farm, Buick, Topps and H&R Block.
The West Des Moines native recently eclipsed 3,000 points in her career and she led Iowa to an NCAA runner-up finish last season.
