IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa fourth-year offensive lineman Kade Pieper has been named to the Associated Press Midseason All-America team, it was announced Thursday by the Associated Press.
Pieper has started 19 consecutive contests at guard, dating back to the start of last season. The Hawkeyes have rushed for 200+ yards in three games this season, highlighted by a 422-yard output in Week 2 against Northern Iowa—the seventh-most rushing yards in a single game in program history.
In that contest, the offensive line paved the way for three 100-yard rushers, marking a first for the program since 1983. Iowa has totaled five 100-yard rushing performances this season, including a season-best 208 yards from fourth-year running back Kamari Moulton in Week 6 at Washington.
Pieper is a key cog in an offensive line that was named to the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll on Wednesday. The Hawkeyes are averaging 31 points and 403.2 yards of total offense per game. Iowa’s rushing attack is churning out 194 yards per contest, while the offensive line has surrendered just five sacks through the first half of the 2026 season.
No. 17 Iowa (5-1, 2-1) return to action at Minnesota (4-2, 2-1) on Saturday, Oct. 24.
