2023 offensive lineman Dylan Senda talks visit to Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Dylan Senda’s second unofficial visit to Iowa on Sunday did nothing but confirm the 2023 offensive lineman’s high level of interest in the Hawkeyes.
Senda, a native of Dearborn, Mich., was one of several high school prospects to take part in a big weekend of visits at Iowa.
“I was blessed to receive an offer from Iowa at the summer camp,” Senda said. “This was my second visit for the Tailgater. The Iowa offer is one of the top schools on my board.
“It was another great visit and I really like how my recruitment is going with the coaches and staff.”
Senda also has Power Five scholarship offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and West Virginia.
While he doesn’t have any favorites, Iowa’s rich tradition along the offensive line is just one thing that stands out to the 6-foot-5, 274-pound Senda.
“The people, the coaches, staff and students are so friendly, easy to talk to and really family oriented,” Senda said. “Iowa also has a lot of tradition and coach (Kirk) Ferentz has done a super job creating a top Big Ten football program. They also have an amazing history of developing great offensive lineman, which is super exciting to me. Just very blessed to have been given this opportunity.”
