Harty and Howe Week 12 predictions
Pat Harty
Iowa 31, Nebraska 30: A poll is conducted after the game in which Nebraska fans say they’d rather have Charles Nelson Reilly as head coach than Mike Riley even though Nelson Reilly has been deceased since 2007.
Michigan State 23, Penn State 17: Fans from Penn State and Nebraska should get together during the offseason and pretend that it’s still the 1980s and 1990s like they do with football. Don Johnson and Mr. T could serve as the guest speakers and music could be played on boom boxes.
Michigan 27, Ohio State 23: For the second week in a row, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott blames the loss on his coaches and says that he is bolting for the NFL after the season. He then apologizes the next day and it is business as usual with Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.
Oklahoma 41, Oklahoma State 34: In a move to irritate his in-state rival and its biggest financial supporter, T. Boone Pickens, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops dedicates the win to the memory of Slim Pickens.
Notre Dame 28, Stanford 27: Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly celebrates the win by getting into fist fights with his graduate assistants.
Week 12: 2-3
Overall: 34-21
