West Des Moines, Iowa – Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media here Saturday following his team’s public workout at Valley High Stadium.

"It’s our ninth practice. There were some good things out there that you saw and some good things that need to be worked on. Depth is always an issue at spring practice. That’s something we’re certainly going to have to continue to try to develop. But this will be a great teaching tape for us when we get back together on Tuesday. I’m just really pleased with the attitude of the team going back to January. They’ve been really good. We’ve had mostly ups in the spring, a couple downs, but mostly ups. We’ll hopefully finish up with six good workouts here as we go through the next two weeks," Ferentz said.
