The commitment train kept rolling through Iowa City Tuesday night when Washington D.C. linebacker Kyle Taylor announced on Twitter that he’d committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Too hyped and blessed to say that I am committed to the University of Iowa #GoHawks pic.twitter.com/bdDMrll9nx

— Kyle Taylor (@KTThirty3) June 10, 2015

Taylor, the brother of Iowa safety Miles Taylor, became Iowa’s fourth verbal commitment in the last two days for the Hawkeyes. He pushed the total of known pledges in the 2016 Class to seven.

Kyle Taylor visited Iowa for the spring game in April. He also reported scholarship offers from Boston College, North Carolina, Virgina Tech and Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Taylor plays for Gonzaga High School. Rivals ranks him as the No. 5 player in DC and the No. 22 inside linebacker nationally in this class.

Taylor told is in April that he preferred not to do interviews. We reached him on Twitter Tuesday night and he still wasn’t ready to talk. He said he would let us know if he decided to talk.
